Several months ago (January) the NNM lost some exhibits in London
They have now returned!!
In a very timely arrival for the TDM curator arriving on Thursday .
With him we will be visiting the sedgewick museum of earth sciences and the cambridge museum of zoology in Cambridge (where we will be meeting him)
It may be interesting for him to know that we now have a small rowing boat which we will almost certainly go on in the time he is staying with us,I definitely advise him to bring a camera!!
The list of returned exhibits are as follows
Moose antler
Horseshoe crab
Squirrel tail
Fossilised mammoth tooth
Mermaids purse (dogfish egg case)
Badger skull
Rabbit skull
Porpoise skull
Volcanic rock (from Iceland)
A small meteorite!
